Kariba Houseboats was established in the 1970s and has maintained its operation on the ever changing but always spectacular shores of our enchanting lake. Our boats were built and designed to allow clients to experience the lake in its natural beauty whilst having sufficient space and facilities to allow enjoyment for all ages and varying interests. Primarily designed to accommodate large groups, our boats are ideal for;

Or anyone wanting to spend leisure time in the midst of the tranquil and diverse landscape , interrupted only by the fascinating and unpredictable array of wildlife and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
All our boats (Bateleur, Shikra, Osprey and Peregrine) have been designed and built in a similar way to offer practical facilities along with spacious areas for, entertainment, realxing as well as conferences and workshops.
All the cabins are built on a semi-open plan with roll down canvas flaps on both sides (windows and doors). All the boats have large upper decks with splash pools and ample sundecks as well as large entertainment and bar areas. Kitchens are fully equipped and our crew members always include a cook. All linen , towels and mosquito nets are supplied.These boats have been in operation for many years and are well maintained with excellent and experienced Crew.
